Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Unique was raised by her grandmother, who sacrificed everything to give her a better future. Her journey has been far from easy, which is why she is so deeply committed to helping gyrls and women rise above their circumstances. Exposed to drugs, institutions, and prostitution at just 12 years old, Unique spiraled into a life of chaos that led her to rock bottom in 2016. That year, she made the life-changing decision to pursue recovery—a choice that not only saved her life but sparked a thriving career in behavioral health and social work, where she has worked for nearly a decade.
